Horse Racing Bet Types

Betting on the totalisator is conducted on a pari-mutuel basis. After deduction of Sales & Services Tax and the Club’s commission, the balance is paid out as dividends to the winners.

Win

Select a horse to finish first. Unit bet value RM5

Place

Select a horse to finish first, second or third where the total number of runners is 7 or more. Where the number of runners is 4, 5 or 6, select a horse to finish first or second. Unit bet value RM5

Forecast

Select two horses to finish first and second in any order in a race. Unit bet value RM2

Tri-Forecast

Select three horses to finish first, second and third in the correct order. Unit bet value RM2

Four-Forecast

Select four horses to finish first, second, third and fourth in the correct order. Unit bet value RM2

Maximize your chances with the number of combinations through box betting or banker betting. Box betting is a method of betting on all the permutations of the horses selected. Banker betting is a method of betting where various permutations of horses are placed into selected bet combinations and each of those combinations includes a horse or horses nominated as the banker or the bankers.
